Account Verification Process
Verify your account to unlock additional features and enhance your security on Mamben Marketplace.

Account verification provides several benefits:

What You'll Need
Prepare the following documents before starting:
- Government-issued ID: Namibian ID card or valid passport
- Proof of Address: Utility bill or bank statement (less than 3 months old)
- Selfie: Clear photo of yourself holding your ID
All documents must be clear, readable, and show all four corners. Blurry or cropped images will be rejected.

Start Verification
- Log in to your Mamben account
- Go to Account Settings → Verification
- Click "Start Verification"
- Read and accept the verification terms

Upload Documents
Document Upload Tips
- • Use good lighting when taking photos
- • Ensure all text is readable
- • File formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF
- • Maximum file size: 5MB per document

Wait for Review
- Verification typically takes 1-3 business days
- You'll receive email updates on your verification status
- If rejected, you'll be told why and can resubmit
💡 Tips for Quick Approval
- Ensure your name matches exactly across all documents
- Use documents that are not expired
- Take photos in good lighting without glare
- For selfie verification, remove glasses and hats
